Your homework is to choose 3 or 4 passages from your This I Believe Speech, memorize them and practice delivering the speech.
In class, we spent the whole block practicing, practicing and practicing some more. The purpose of pulling out passages to practice, isn't to ignore the remainder of the text. Instead, it's better to tackle the delivery of the speech by focusing on a section at a time, with particular emphasis on the key passages of the speech.
Your delivery should pay attention to pacing, volume, emphasis, eye contact and body language.
You must practice the speech and its delivery for homework.
