Why is Gatsby so nervous when meeting with Daisy dispite being so welcoming and comfortable to and with most people?

Does Myrtle's sister, Catherine, have a prominent role in the book later on? Does she represent anything? What about the McKee's?
Was Gatsby using Nick to get with Daisy the whole time or was he actually interested in being friends with him?
